Samsung and SK Hynix will begin mass production of HBM4 in February.

According to the South Korean "Seoul Economic Daily" citing anonymous industry sources, Samsung Electronics will mass-produce HBM4 in its Pyeongtaek plant in South Korea, while SK Hynix will start mass production at its M16 plant, both of which are planned to start production in February 2026. This HBM4 will be used in NVIDIA's next-generation artificial intelligence chip "Rubin". SK Hynix delivered HBM4 samples to NVIDIA in March 2025, and completed the mass production system in September.
