The Chinese construction company has completed the modernization of the railway project in Georgia, and it is now officially open.

The opening ceremony of the modernization of the Georgian railway project, constructed by Chinese enterprises, was held on December 24 in the central Georgian city of Khashuri. The modernization project has a total length of about 41 kilometers. According to the Georgian Railway Company, after the railway is officially opened, the annual freight capacity of the line will increase from 27 million tons to 48 million tons.
