On December 24, 2025, the fourth meeting of the members of the Security and Rescue Committee of Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province was held. The importance of carrying out workplace safety tasks with greater intensity, practical measures, and stricter requirements was highlighted to ensure the safety of people's lives, property, and social stability. Liu Wenhua also emphasized that all levels of Party committees and governments in the city should deeply understand the extreme importance of workplace safety work from a political perspective. It was emphasized to place workplace safety in a primary position, to firmly take on the political responsibility of "promoting development in one region and ensuring peace in that region," and to truly turn the sense of responsibility of "not feeling at ease all the time" into the action of having a clear conscience in every matter. It was necessary to strictly implement departmental supervision responsibilities, grasp the characteristics of workplace safety at the end of the year and the beginning of the year, carry out a comprehensive inspection and rectification of hidden dangers in key industries such as transportation, firefighting, construction, culture and tourism, hazardous chemicals, mining, and trade, as well as in densely populated public places like high-rise buildings, schools, hospitals, businesses, and cultural and entertainment venues. Supervision and law enforcement should be strengthened to effectively eliminate blind spots in supervision and block safety loopholes. It was crucial to strictly enforce corporate responsibilities, establish and improve a system of workplace safety responsibilities, seriously address hidden dangers, severely crack down on individuals and incidents violating workplace safety, and continuously improve the level of essential safety. Accountability and disciplinary measures should be strengthened, regular supervision and inspection should be enhanced, "looking back" and "returning shots" should be carried out more frequently, and a strict accountability system for workplace safety should be implemented with iron discipline to effectively promote the implementation of workplace safety tasks.
