Jinbei Motors announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Germany's E-Works Mobility GmbH, planning to establish research and development centers in China and Germany. The Chinese R&D center will be majority-owned by Jinbei Motors or its wholly-owned subsidiary, focusing on the development and adaptive research of electric chassis and related components. The German R&D center will be majority-owned by E-Works, focusing on product definition and system architecture decisions. Both parties aim to enhance market competitiveness through collaboration, expanding the electric light commercial vehicle market in the EU together.
