Scientists in our laboratory have drawn the first complete genome map of a male pig.

It was learned from the College of Animal Science and Technology of China Agricultural University that Professor Fang Meiying's team has published their latest achievement in the international journal "Nature Genetics", releasing the world's first complete genome of a male pig T2T. This research provides key foundational data for pig genome studies, has important guiding significance for improving pig breeds, and also expands the potential application of pigs as a biomedical research model animal.
