The period of the "14th Five-Year Plan" is a key period for achieving the strategic goal of basically realizing agricultural modernization and rural basic modern living conditions by 2035, as clearly defined by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. We must adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress and the plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, deeply study and implement the important instructions and comments of General Secretary Xi Jinping on rural work, anchor the goal of basically realizing agricultural modernization and rural basic modern living conditions by 2035, adhere to solving the "three rural" issues as the Party's top priority, adhere to the experience of the "Million-Hectare Project", prioritize the development of agriculture and rural areas, adhere to the integrated development of urban and rural areas, take advancing the comprehensive revitalization of the countryside as the overall focus, ensure national food security and prevent large-scale poverty as the bottom line, use deepening rural reform and developing new agricultural productive forces as the driving force, coordinate rural industrial development, rural construction, and rural governance, promote a more stable agricultural foundation, a more prosperous rural areas, and a more prosperous life for farmers, and write a good chapter in promoting Chinese-style modernization in the "three rural" areas.
