Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Singapore Branch successfully implements innovative pilot project for overseas recharge of digital RMB personal wallets.

Under the joint guidance of the Digital Currency Research Institute of the People's Bank of China and the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Singapore Branch actively implemented the cooperation achievements of the digital RMB announced by the China-Singapore Bilateral Cooperation Joint Committee this year, and successfully launched an innovative pilot project for overseas recharge of digital RMB personal wallets recently. Singaporean tourists only need to register a wallet on the digital RMB client, and can use ICBC Singapore Branch's personal mobile banking to recharge digital RMB through an account opened at ICBC Singapore Branch, achieving convenient payment in various scenarios such as transportation, tourism shopping, dining and accommodation in China.
