On March 23rd, Li Xiangzhang, Deputy Director of the Department of Food Production and Operation of the State Administration for Market Regulation, stated at a press conference that the headquarters of enterprises are the central hub for food safety management in chain enterprises. They must shoulder responsibility and cannot shirk their duties or simply collect fees without taking responsibility.
