On December 19, Li Chenggang, international trade negotiation representative and vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce, met with Sabih Khan, Chief Operating Officer of Apple Inc. of the United States. The two sides exchanged views on the development of Apple's business in China. Li Chenggang stated that the cooperation between Apple and the Chinese market is a process of mutual achievement and mutual growth. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China will further expand its high-level opening-up to the outside world, bringing greater development opportunities for foreign companies including Apple. It is hoped that Apple will continue to maintain deep integration with Chinese partners, deepen its presence in the Chinese market, and achieve common development. Sabih Khan expressed that Apple highly appreciates China's supply chain capability and potential, and has had a mutually beneficial relationship with Chinese partners for a long time.
