Brazilian Federal Supreme Court judge Alexandre de Moraes approved on the 19th the temporary departure of former President Bolsonaro from prison to undergo surgery. De Moraes approved the surgery request presented by Bolsonaro's defense team on that day, but rejected the request to transfer him to house arrest. The Brazilian Federal Police medical team diagnosed Bolsonaro with bilateral inguinal hernia and recommended surgery as soon as possible.
