Vietnam Old Street - Hanoi - Haiphong Railway Project Section Construction Commences

The first phase of the Old Street-Hanoi-Haiphong Railway Project kicked off on the 19th in the northern province of Old Street, Vietnam, and four satellite venues were set up along the railway line in four provinces and cities. Deputy Minister of Construction of Vietnam Nguyen Phuong Nam stated that the groundbreaking ceremony reflects the determination of both Vietnam and China to further deepen and enhance their comprehensive strategic partnership and build a strategic community of shared destiny between the two countries. Once completed, the railway will form a modern economic corridor, injecting new growth momentum into the regions along the project.
