Recently released data from the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure shows that Turkey has welcomed over 2 million cruise ship tourists in the first 11 months of 2025, marking the highest annual level in the country's history of cruise tourism development. Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, stated that Turkey has become one of the most favored countries in international cruise routes. As a globally important tourist destination, Turkey aims to welcome over 64 million tourists in 2025, generating tourism revenue of over 65 billion US dollars.
