Guangxi issues the "Implementation Plan for the 'Fifteenth Five-Year' Breakthrough Strategy for Mineral Exploration".

Recently, the "Implementation Plan of the New Round of Mineral Exploration Breakthrough Strategic Action" during the "15th Five-Year Plan" was officially issued in Guangxi. The plan specifies that in the next five years, Guangxi will fully empower the high-quality development of non-ferrous metals, especially key metals, with artificial intelligence, focusing on 9 key metals such as tin, antimony, and indium, as well as non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, and zinc. The core direction is to anchor the "breakthrough in new areas, increase reserves in old areas", focusing on the implementation of basic geological surveys and mineral exploration in three mineralized areas in northeast Guangxi, southeast Guangxi, west Guangxi, and the Nandan-Kunlun pass mineralization belt. By 2030, Guangxi aims to achieve high-quality development of non-ferrous metals, especially key metals, significantly enhance its mineral resource guarantee capability, improve the coverage rate of basic geological surveys to 59%, identify 20-30 mineral exploration target areas, discover 8-10 large and medium-sized mineral deposits, and add a batch of key metal mineral resources.
