The 12th meeting of the China-Serbia Intergovernmental Joint Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Beijing.

On December 18, the 12th meeting of the China-Serbia Intergovernmental Economic and Trade Joint Commission was held in Beijing. Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao met with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Mesarovic, Minister of Foreign Trade Lazarovic, and Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations Ling Ji, who co-chaired the meeting with the Serbian side. The two sides positively evaluated the cooperation achievements since the last meeting of the economic and trade joint commission, agreed to further release the dividends of the two countries' free trade agreement, to convene the first meeting of the investment working group as soon as possible, to strengthen investment cooperation in the fields of green economy and new energy vehicles, to promote trade and investment integration, to enhance the follow-up operation of the Hungary-Serbia railway and cooperation in the Serbian 2027 specialized expo, and signed a joint memorandum after the meeting.
