HSBC analyst Ricky Seo wrote in a report that Samsung Electronics will benefit from a longer semiconductor upcycle than in the past, which may last for four to five years. Seo pointed out that in the case of rising chip prices, the chip maker is more exposed to commodity storage products than its peers. Seo stated that for Samsung, the increase in supply of high-bandwidth storage products and the AI-driven chip demand brought by cloud service providers will also be good opportunities, with the supply of high-bandwidth storage products possibly increasing to 2.4 times by 2026.
