According to the Shanghai General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, since the implementation of the 240-hour transit visa-free policy by the National Immigration Administration on December 17, 2024, up to December 17, 2025, the Shanghai General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection has processed transit visa-free procedures for 72,000 foreign nationals.
