Acer and Asus plan to raise prices due to increased prices caused by storage shortages.
The shortage of storage leading to price hikes continues, with both Acer and Asus confirming on the 15th that they will "moderately reflect costs" and raise PC prices. Acer's chairman, Jason Chen, pointed out that the prices of products in Q1 next year will be different from Q4 this year, but the real challenge will be in Q2 pricing; in order to secure more storage, he has visited Micron, hoping to get more supply. Asus co-CEO, Jerry Shen, stated, "Brands still need to moderately reflect costs," and Asus will adjust product offerings and prices flexibly according to market dynamics to determine the most suitable timing.
