Huatai Securities: Mass production of all solid-state battery equipment is expected to be achieved between 2027 and 2030.
Huatai Securities pointed out that with the solid-state electrolyte completely replacing the electrolyte, an all-solid-state battery has a disruptive advantage in safety and energy density. The current focus of industrialization has shifted from "materials science" to "production engineering", with equipment becoming the key to whether its advantages can be realized. Compared to materials, equipment can be compatible with different technological routes and has higher visibility. With industrialization goals both domestically and internationally gradually converging, semi-solid-state battery equipment is expected to achieve mass production in 2026, while all-solid-state battery equipment is expected to achieve mass production in 2027-2030. The process of all-solid-state battery involves the addition of new links and a significant improvement in the performance/quantity of existing links. As 2027-2030 becomes a critical period for industrialization, related equipment manufacturers will be the first to benefit, and the industry chain is expected to enter a period of high growth and prosperity.
