The National Campus Food Safety Experience Exchange Promotion Meeting was held in Mianyang, Sichuan.

From December 10th to 11th, the National Campus Food Safety Work Experience Exchange Conference was held in Mianyang, Sichuan. Liu Jun, Deputy Director of the State Council Food Safety Office and member of the Party group and Deputy Director of the Market Supervision Administration, attended and delivered a speech. Yang Xingping, Vice Governor of Sichuan Province, also attended the meeting and gave a speech. The meeting pointed out that since 2025, market supervision departments at all levels have conscientiously implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on strengthening the supervision of campus food safety, shouldered political responsibilities, focused on prominent issues, improved institutional mechanisms, increased supervision and law enforcement efforts, tightened school's main responsibilities, continuously enhanced risk prevention and control levels, and effectively promoted the continuous improvement of campus food safety. The meeting emphasized that campus food safety is related to the health and safety of teachers and students. It is necessary to conscientiously implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on food safety work, strictly implement the "Four Strictest" requirements, and effectively implement all work measures in daily routines and strictly. It is necessary to carry out joint inspections with relevant departments on a regular basis, urge principals to fulfill their responsibilities, improve food safety management systems, strictly punish illegal activities, and effectively use legal supervision, credit supervision, and intelligent supervision methods to strengthen the entire chain risk control system, and further promote the governance of campus food safety and make every meal for children a "reassuring meal" and "happy meal". Market supervision bureaus of Liaoning Province, Chongqing Municipality, and Sichuan Province, the education departments of Hebei Province and Zhejiang Province, and the Shenzhen Second High School exchanged work experiences. Some provinces conducted a retrospective analysis of campus food safety incidents that have occurred this year, and exchanged practical measures for improving emergency response capabilities. Relevant officials from the Ministry of Education, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervision Commission stationed at the Market Supervision Administration, as well as officials from various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Market Supervision Administration participated in the meeting. Representatives of school principals from Mianyang City also attended the meeting.
