IDC: Global smart glasses shipments in the third quarter increased by 74.1% compared to the same period last year. The audio and audio recording category saw a huge increase of 287.5%.

According to the latest Quarterly Tracking Report on the Global Smart Eyewear Market released by IDC, the global smart eyewear market is expected to ship 4.296 million units in the third quarter of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 74.1%. Among them, the global market for audio and video recording eyewear shipped 2.994 million units, a year-on-year increase of 287.5%; the AR/VR market shipped 1.302 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 23.2%.
