Dutch company launches all-new quantum chip architecture that increases capacity nearly one hundred times compared to mainstream products.
Recently, the Dutch quantum hardware company QuantWare released the quantum processor unit expansion architecture VIO-40K, which can create a QPU with 10,000 quantum bits, a capacity that is nearly 100 times higher than the current industry standard. For comparison, Google's quantum chip increased from 53 quantum bits to 105 quantum bits in six years, while IBM recently released a 120 quantum bit QPU, which may become mainstream by 2028.
