Hong Kong media: Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department cancels screening of three Japanese films
According to reports from several Hong Kong media outlets and Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region had originally planned to hold the "Feast for the Mind - Taste of Earthly Delights" film screening event from today until the 18th of next month. The event was supposed to feature screenings of over 14 films with food as a theme, but the screenings and post-screening talks for three Japanese films "Seagull Diner," "Dandelion," and "Sweet Bean" have been canceled.
According to an announcement on the official website of the LCSD Film Program, it was mentioned that "due to program adjustments, some screenings for 'Feast for the Mind - Taste of Earthly Delights' have been canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience caused." Details about ticket refunds are also available on the Film Program's website.
