Reporters learned from the Dongfu Research Institute that recently, the institute's independently developed floating wind power coupling seawater hydrogen production integrated platform has successfully obtained the principle approval certificate from the China Classification Society, becoming the world's first floating wind power hydrogen production platform to pass this certification. This marks a key technological breakthrough for China in the field of deep-sea new energy equipment. In recent years, the development and utilization of near-shore wind energy resources in China has reached saturation, and the development of offshore wind power to deep seas has become an inevitable trend. Due to the long distance of deep-sea areas from the shore, there are technical and cost difficulties in transmitting electricity, so locally absorbing offshore wind power, integrating development, and forming high-value products is the key to maximizing benefits. The integrated platform of floating wind power coupling seawater hydrogen production has become a research and development hotspot in the field of offshore wind power and marine equipment both domestically and internationally. According to information, the Dongfu Research Institute is a state-owned enterprise jointly established by China Oriental Electric Group, the People's Government of Fujian Province, and the People's Government of Fuzhou City.
