Establishment of Dongguan Institute of Material Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

According to the Dongguan Daily, on the morning of December 6th, the inaugural meeting of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Dongguan Institute of Materials Science and Technology was held in Dongguan. It is reported that the Chinese Academy of Sciences Dongguan Institute of Materials Science and Technology was jointly established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and the People's Government of Dongguan City, aiming to address the frontier basic scientific issues and key application challenges in the field of new materials, and cultivate and develop new productive forces.
