The three major airlines have announced: Free ticket changes and cancellations for flights between China and Japan will be extended until March 28th next year.

Air China, China Eastern Airlines, and China Southern Airlines have successively released notices regarding the special handling of tickets for flights to Japan. Passengers traveling on flights to Japan, entering Japan, departing from Japan, or making a stopover in Japan before March 28, 2026, can request free refunds or changes. Before this date, the free refund and change policy will end on December 31, 2025.
