According to the WiseFinance APP, Cui Dongshu stated in an article that in October 2025, the national second-hand car market transaction volume was 1.76 million units, down 2% month-on-month and up 2.7% year-on-year. The transaction amount was 111 billion yuan, down 0.8% year-on-year. From January to October 2025, the cumulative transaction volume of second-hand cars was 16.49 million units, up 3.5% year-on-year, with a transaction value of 1057.2 billion yuan, up 0.6%. In recent years, the transfer ratio of second-hand cars has fluctuated between 25% and 30%, reaching a historical high of 33.1% in October 2025.
