The fourth quarter is a crucial period for private equity funds to realize their performance and capture investment opportunities for the coming year, with research becoming their main way of exploring new opportunities. As of December 4th, a total of 2,280 private equity institutions have conducted 13,000 researches since the fourth quarter, with many private equity firms conducting research over a hundred times. In terms of the sectors to which the research companies belong, electronic components, medical equipment, and integrated circuits are among the most popular. Many private equity professionals interviewed indicated that since the fourth quarter of this year, private equity institutions have been relatively active in research, partly due to their strong confidence in the A-share market in 2026, and also because they are currently at a crucial period of portfolio adjustment and stock swapping. Through research, they aim to learn about the current industry development and actual operational situation of companies, ensuring more rational asset allocation to maximize product returns.
