UBS report: total wealth of global billionaires reaches $15.8 trillion, with Asia Pacific region leading in growth.

According to the Zhitong Financial APP, on December 4th, a new report released by UBS showed that the number of billionaires worldwide is expected to increase by 8.8% to 2,919 by 2025, with a total wealth reaching a record high of $15.8 trillion (approximately $123.24 trillion Hong Kong dollars), a 13% increase. The Asia-Pacific region is expected to have the most significant increase in billionaires by 2025, with the number rising from 981 to 1,036, the largest increase globally. In the Asia-Pacific region, 79% of billionaires are self-made, leading all regions. The total wealth of billionaires in the region is expected to increase by 11.1% to $4.2 trillion.
