The autonomous navigation system developed by CSIC No. 704 Institute has successfully obtained the first international certification for on-board application.

At the China International Maritime Technology Academic Conference and Exhibition on December 4th, the 82,000-ton bulk carrier "CS JINAN" equipped with the autonomous navigation system developed independently by the Seventh Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Group received the first autonomous navigation certificate issued by the American Bureau of Shipping, making it the first bulk carrier in the world to receive an ABS autonomous navigation certificate.
