Venezuela continues to launch anti-drug operations in various places.
On December 3rd local time, Diosdado Cabello, Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace of Venezuela, stated that Venezuela has seized a total of 65.5 tons of drugs this year. He also mentioned that since the implementation of the "National Airspace Comprehensive Defense Command Act" in 2012, the country has shot down or destroyed 418 drug-related or illegal aircraft. Cabello said that by the end of November 2025, security forces launched operations in multiple areas, seizing hundreds of kilograms of marijuana and cocaine in states such as Amazonas, Lara, Monagas, and Falcon from November 23rd to 27th alone. Cabello also revealed that the security forces are currently investigating a major case that is "extremely crucial in the fight against drug trafficking."
