The relief supplies provided by central coordination provide important support for Hong Kong rescue operations.
On December 4, Hong Kong Security Bureau Director John Lee Ka-chiu said in an interview that Hong Kong continues to receive disaster relief supplies coordinated by the central government. Equipment such as lighting drones, dual-optical reconnaissance drones, exoskeleton mechanical equipment, and firefighting and rescue boots have effectively helped the Hong Kong Fire Services Department strengthen on-site fire surveys and emergency dispatch. These supplies are providing crucial support for rescue work. According to the needs of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has coordinated with the Ministry of Emergency Management to provide the latest batch of supplies for the ongoing relief efforts for the Tai Po fire in Hong Kong, including protective goggles, waterproof gloves, etc. These supplies arrived in Hong Kong on the 3rd and have been delivered for use.
