General Administration of Sport: Reform and improve the corporate governance structure of the Chinese Basketball Association, strengthen supervision over key positions.

On December 4th, the General Administration of Sport website issued a notice on "Opinions on Further Advancing the Reform and Development of Basketball". The opinions put forward suggestions to strengthen the self-construction of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). They aim to reform and improve the CBA's legal governance structure, strengthen supervision of key positions, and establish a mechanism for mutual constraint and coordination of decision-making power, execution power, and supervisory power. It also highlights the importance of the active role played by the Executive Committee and Special Committees. The opinions also emphasize the need to improve the membership management methods and requirements for member associations, strengthen institutionalization and standardization, and continuously enhance the professionalism and social credibility of the association.
