RNA methylation modification is considered to be the "switch" that controls gene expression, but for a long time, the experimental results on whether gene sites are modified in this field of research have been inconsistent. On the 3rd, it was reported by XJTLU in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province that Assistant Professor Wei Zhen's team has integrated data from nearly 1,400 studies to develop a database of cross-validated RNA methylation modification sites, providing a reference for evaluating the reliability of related experimental conclusions in the future. The research results were published on the 3rd in the international academic journal "Nucleic Acids Research" and made available worldwide for free.
