On December 1, 2025, Pan Gongsheng, Governor of the People's Bank of China, met with Dan Katz, First Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, who was visiting. They exchanged views on the economic and financial situation in China and globally, as well as on cooperation between China and the International Monetary Fund. Xuan Changneng, Vice Governor of the People's Bank of China, also attended the meeting.
