On the afternoon of November 26, a serious fire broke out in Hong Kong's Ho Fook Gardens in Tai Po, resulting in significant casualties and property damage. On December 1, China Taiping Insurance Group announced full support for Taiping Hong Kong in quickly mobilizing survey and loss assessment resources, actively coordinating with reinsurers, establishing a rapid claims and advance payment mechanism, and assisting affected residents in returning to normal life as soon as possible. At the same time, the group, along with the Taiping Charity Foundation, donated 10 million Hong Kong dollars to the "Ho Fook Gardens Relief Fund" established by the Hong Kong SAR government to provide assistance to those affected. The group's health and wellness community "China Taiping Guangzhou Cottonwood Homestead" urgently allocated 60 housing units for affected residents to stay for free for three months.
