On December 1st, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lin Jian hosted a routine press conference. A reporter from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation asked about the statement made by the Australian Defense Minister, who mentioned that the Australian Defense Department had detected the activities of a Chinese naval fleet that might be heading towards Australia. Lin Jian stated that for questions regarding the activities of the Chinese navy, it is recommended to inquire with the relevant authorities.
