Citi: Genie 4 drives the development of interactive world models; bullish on KUAISHOU-W (01024) Kling AI's exploration of related opportunities.
Citi believes that with Google DeepMind's launch of Genie 4, major Chinese developers of AI video models should also explore interactive world models, and KUAISHOU-W, with its Kling AI, is expected to gain exploration opportunities in related fields.
Citi issued a research report stating that Google DeepMind has launched its latest interactive world model, Genie 4, which has made progress in both realism and real-time interactive simulation. The model combines Gemini Omni to anchor simulations in the appearance and behavior of the real world, and leverages other Gemini models to provide complex reasoning to maintain the coherence and continuity of simulated content.
Citi believes that major Chinese developers of AI video models should also explore interactive world models. The bank noted that ByteDance's Seed team regards video generation models as one of the important pathways to world models, and its leading Seedance model, together with foundational model capabilities, may give the company an advantage in related fields. In addition, the bank is bullish on KUAISHOU-W (01024)'s opportunity to explore the world model field through its Kling AI.
