On the news front, monitoring by Centaline Property Research Institute shows that during the National Day holiday, new home subscriptions in 50 key cities nationwide rose more than 15% year-on-year. Zhang Dawei, chief analyst at Centaline Property, pointed out that this National Day long holiday coincided with the implementation of the interest subsidy policy for first-home commercial loans starting October 1, combined with the concentrated effect of a package of policies including the August 28 housing sales system reform, optimization of housing provident funds in various regions, and personal income tax rebates for selling old homes and buying new ones, forming the strongest policy combination punch for this year's "Golden September and Silver October."
It is worth noting that several property developers have recently announced progress on debt restructuring. LVGEM CHINAPROPERTIES signed a restructuring support agreement, with the winding-up petition hearing adjourned to April 6, 2027; Agile Group plans to resolve a total of approximately US$5.183 billion in all-category offshore financial debt by transferring approximately 64.6% of its equity after restructuring; SHIMAO GROUP recently had a winding-up petition filed against it by a third party with the Hong Kong High Court, and the company stated it will oppose it.
