NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) CEO Jensen Huang publicly declared after OpenAI announced GPT-6 Astra that "Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) has arrived." He pointed out that this milestone is attributed to the rapid evolution of AI models over the past four years, with the latest model trained on over 100,000 Grace Blackwell NVLink72 chips. "Next, 400,000 GPUs will gradually come online," Huang added, congratulating OpenAI on the launch of Astra. On September 4, 2026, Beijing time, OpenAI officially released its next-generation flagship model, GPT-6 Astra, defining it as "the new generation of intelligence."
