Sanyuda Medical-B (06669) has announced that the Group expects to record a net loss of not more than RMB 80.9 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026 (the relevant period), compared to a net profit of approximately RMB 88.6 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025 (the prior period).
ACOTEC-B (06669) announced that the Group expects to record a net loss of no more than RMB 80.9 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026 (the relevant period), compared to a net profit of approximately RMB 88.6 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025 (the prior period). The anticipated performance is a shift from net profit in the prior period to net loss in the relevant period, primarily due to the termination of the AcoArt Litos paclitaxel-coated percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) balloon catheter (the product) clinical trial project in the United States, which resulted in a one-time non-cash impairment loss (i.e., capitalized R&D expenses of the clinical project) and a one-time provision related to the termination of the clinical project, totaling approximately RMB 151 million. After reviewing the situation, management determined that the changes in future product pipeline and local market dynamics in the U.S. may limit the product's profitability, and the Group has therefore terminated the clinical project; management believes that reallocating resources to other future product pipelines is commercially more beneficial. The Group is exploring new overseas pipelines with its business partners and will provide further details in due course.
