This substantial increase was primarily due to the significant gains from the sale of UK Power Networks (UKPN) and UK Rails, which fully reflects CKI's ability to create value and highlights the deep value embedded in the groups portfolio of high-quality assets.
As of June 30, 2026, CKI held a net cash position of HKD 33.9 billion, representing the strongest financial condition in its history. The group is now better positioned to seek investment opportunities in large capital-intensive projects.
Over the past 30 years, CKI's business has grown significantly, expanding from its initial focus in Hong Kong and mainland China to a presence across Australia, the UK, continental Europe, Canada, and New Zealand.
