Hang Seng Index Company: Updated Schedule for Hang Seng Index Series Adjustments
This update will start to be implemented in the index review ending on June 30, 2026.
On June 12th, Hang Seng Index Company announced that in order to optimize the management of the Hang Seng Index series, the quarterly adjustment schedule for the index will be divided into two groups. According to the index grouping, regular index adjustments will generally take place on the first or second Friday after the close of the adjustment month (June, September, December, and March). This update will be implemented in the index review ending on June 30, 2026. Therefore, for the quarterly adjustment in September 2026, the first group of indices and the second group of indices will take effect on September 7, 2026 (Monday) and September 14, 2026 (Monday) respectively.
