In the first five months of this year, a total of 10 companies have successfully listed in Hong Kong according to the Chapter 18C listing mechanism, raising over HK$25 billion in total. These companies come from various strategic emerging industries such as robotics, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, and aerospace.
On June 11, at the 2026 HKEX Future Technology Summit, Charles Li, CEO of HKEX Group (00388), said that the Hong Kong capital market continues to attract cutting-edge technology companies. In the first five months of this year, 10 companies have successfully listed in Hong Kong under Chapter 18C listing mechanism, raising a total of over HK$25 billion, covering strategic emerging industries such as Siasun Robot & Automation, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, and aerospace. Charles Li pointed out that since the introduction of Chapter 18C, it has provided a clearer and more targeted listing channel for high-growth potential specialized technology companies, effectively meeting the financing needs of innovative technology companies. The success of these companies in entering the capital market reflects the high compatibility of Hong Kong's listing system with the global trend of technological industry development, and also demonstrates the attention and recognition of international investors on the forefront of technology race. She stated that as emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, Siasun Robot & Automation, low-altitude economy, and commercial aerospace accelerate, HKEX will continue to leverage its advantages as an international financing platform, improve the market ecosystem, attract more innovative technology companies to list in Hong Kong, support the transformation of technological innovation achievements and industrial upgrades, and further consolidate Hong Kong's position as an international financial center.
