There were no outstanding forward foreign exchange contracts at the end of April 2026 (compared to $300 million at the end of March 2026). The total amount of foreign exchange reserves of $442.1 billion is equivalent to more than five times the circulating currency in Hong Kong, or approximately 38% of the Hong Kong dollar money supply M3.
