The national "15th Five-Year Plan" proposes to build a modern industrial system, accelerate high-level self-reliance in science and technology, promote the construction of a digital China, etc. It also clearly supports Hong Kong in building an international innovation and technology center, accelerating the construction of the Northern Metropolis, and supporting Hong Kong in creating an international high-end talent gathering place, which will bring more major opportunities to Hong Kong. As an important force in the country's science and technology, Hong Kong should actively align itself with the country's major development strategies. Under the leadership of the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government is currently formulating a five-year plan for Hong Kong. The Innovation and Technology Bureau (ITB) of Hong Kong is promoting the development of innovation and technology in Hong Kong in three aspects to support the high-quality development of the country.
