Cig Shanghai (06166) fell more than 6% at the close, hitting a low of 63.8 Hong Kong dollars, marking a new low in the market. As of the time of writing, it fell 6.03% to 63.9 Hong Kong dollars, with a turnover of 36.559 million Hong Kong dollars. On the news front, on February 13, Cig Shanghai made an official response on the investor interaction platform regarding recent online rumors. In response to the rumors of "the company's light modules being delayed in providing optical chips by its largest customer, Cisco" and "performance falling short of expectations," the company clearly stated that the above information does not match the actual operating situation. The performance forecast shows that the company's net profit attributable to shareholders in 2025 is expected to increase by 51.19% to 66.79% year-on-year, and the non-net profit attributable to shareholders is expected to increase by 64.62% to 81.81% year-on-year. Huaxin Securities previously released a research report stating that Cig Shanghai's Q4 Hong Kong-listed financing funds are mainly held in Hong Kong dollars in foreign exchange form. Affected by the simultaneous decline in the Hong Kong dollar exchange rate following the US dollar exchange rate, the net exchange gains and losses turned from profit to loss. It is expected that the exchange loss for the full year of 2025 will be approximately 81.61 million yuan, which will have a certain negative impact on the growth of Q4 performance, but it will not change the overall trend of performance increase.
