Chao Media Holdings (00072) announced the acquisition of approximately 3% of the issued share capital of Modern Digital Holdings Limited. All the conditions precedent specified in the sale and purchase agreement have been fulfilled, and the completion took effect on January 23, 2026. Upon completion, the equity interest of the buyer in the target company's issued share capital will increase from approximately 77% to 80%, making the target company a subsidiary of the company with approximately 80% equity interest. The financial performance of the target company will continue to be consolidated into the financial statements of the group.
