On September 5th, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce answered questions from reporters regarding the preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation of imported pork and pork by-products originating from the European Union. It was introduced that preliminary evidence indicates that imported pork and pork by-products originating from the European Union are being dumped, causing substantial harm to domestic industries, and there is a causal relationship between the dumping and the substantial harm. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce issued a preliminary ruling announcement on September 5th, 2025, determining the dumping margin of European Union companies to be between 15.6% and 62.4%, and decided to implement temporary anti-dumping measures.
