AMCO UNITED (00630) announced that the group is expected to record a profit attributable to owners of the company of approximately 1 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending on June 30, 2025, compared to a loss of 25.4 million Hong Kong dollars for the same period in 2024. The group achieved a turnaround from loss to profit for the six months ending on June 30, 2025, mainly due to (i) an increase in revenue and gross profit of approximately 5 million Hong Kong dollars and 1.6 million Hong Kong dollars respectively, and (ii) a change from a fair value loss on trading investments of approximately 22.9 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending on June 30, 2024, to a fair value gain of approximately 3.4 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending on June 30, 2025.
