In June 2025, the total electricity market transaction volume reached 502 billion kilowatt hours nationwide, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%. Among them, the intra-provincial transaction volume was 384.7 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year decrease of 0.22%.
According to the data from the National Energy Administration, in June 2025, the national electricity market traded a volume of 502 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 2.2% year-on-year. Among them, the intra-provincial electricity market traded 384.7 billion kilowatt-hours, a decrease of 0.22% year-on-year; the inter-provincial and inter-regional electricity market traded 117.4 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 11.1% year-on-year. The volume of green electricity traded was 23.9 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 15.6% year-on-year. From January to June 2025, the cumulative market trading volume of the country reached 2.95 trillion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 4.8% year-on-year, accounting for 60.9% of the total electricity consumption in the whole society, an increase of 0.52 percentage points year-on-year. Among them, the intra-provincial electricity market traded 2.28 trillion kilowatt-hours, remaining unchanged year-on-year; the inter-provincial and inter-regional electricity market traded 670.7 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 18.2% year-on-year. The volume of green electricity traded was 154 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 49.3% year-on-year.
